What is coaching?

Coaching is rapidly emerging as a powerful tool and strategy that high achievers use to elevate their lives and create extraordinary results.

It’s a collaborative, equal partnership that gives you the space to grow while still holding you accountable, helping you to become the person you want to be, create the life and career you desire, and reach the goals that matter to you.

How is coaching different from counselling

Coaching helps a person by providing structure, support, and clarity to move toward their goals more effectively. A coach helps you clarify what you truly want, why you want it, and what steps will get you there. A coach offers an outside perspective, helping you see blind spots and explore new solutions you might not have considered on your own. This reduces confusion and creates a clear roadmap.

Regular sessions help maintain momentum, reignite motivation, and keep you moving forward even when challenges arise. Having someone check in on your progress keeps you on track. Accountability increases commitment and follow-through.

Ultimately, coaching helps you grow into the person you want to become—more capable, balanced, fulfilled, and aligned with your goals.

Through counselling, you can hear and understand yourself better, and through coaching, you can grow and move forward.

Coaching focuses on the present and future and helps you set goals and take action. Whereas counselling focuses on the past and present and helps you to understand emotions, patterns, and unresolved issues.

Coaching works on strengths, mindset, and practical steps where the coach partners with you to move you forward. Counselling brings you back to emotional stability and well-being, and the counsellor works at a gentle pace based on your comfort.

I practice, both independently or together, whatever is needed.
